Cascata del Catafurco e villaggio molisa

Ci muoveremo tra ruscelli e ambienti umidi nel cuore del parco dei Nebrodi. Attraversando tipici villaggi di pastori, passando piccole sorgenti montane, costeggeremo il torrente san Basilio, che tramite l’azione erosiva delle sue acque ha scavato le rocce. Raggiungeremo con una comoda passeggiata nella natura la stupenda destinazione “cascata del Catafurco”, luogo affascinante da esplorare e scoprire ideale per tutti gli amanti del trekking. La cascata situata all’interno di una stretta gola è alta più di trenta metri offre uno spettacolo incantevole. Le acque si raccolgono in una cavità naturale, scavata nella roccia alla base della cascata, chiamata Marmitta dei Giganti, dove, nella bella stagione, è possibile bagnarsi.

.We will move through streams and wetlands in the heart of the Nebrodi park. Crossing typical shepherd villages, passing small mountain springs, we will sail along the San Basilio stream, which through the erosive action of its waters has dug the rocks. With a comfortable walk in the nature we will reach the charming destination “cascata del Catafurco”, a fascinating place to explore and discover ideal for all trekking lovers. The waterfall located inside a narrow gorge is more than thirty meters high and offers an enchanting spectacle. The waters gather in a natural cavity, dug into the rock at the base of the waterfall, called “Marmitta dei Giganti” where it is possible to get wet in the summer.
